Administration of the Microlab
All faculty, staff, students and visitors are asked to read and abide by the University Acceptable Use Policies when using their computer systems on campus. All faculty, staff, students and visitors using the 101D Smith Hall Microlab are also expected to read and abide by the Microlab's policies and rules as set forth by the Chemistry Department.
The Microlab is managed by the Computer-Assisted Instruction Manager (CAIM) and a staff of undergraduate teaching assistants that work hard to keep the lab's software current and computers running smoothly. At least one undergraduate teaching assistant is on duty anytime the lab is open to answer questions and help with computer problems.
We welcome the ideas, comments, and suggestions of the Microlab's users. Please contact the Computer-Assisted Instruction Manager with your suggestions, comments, or feedback on how we can improve the lab or its policies. The office is in 101E Smith Hall, just inside the Microlab's main door.
