Professor Reineke chosen for Academic Leadership Program
Professor Theresa Reineke is a Fellow in the Big Ten Academic Alliance Academic Leadership Program (ALP) for 2018-19. Established in 1989, this intensive experience develops the leadership and managerial skills of faculty who have demonstrated exceptional ability and academic promise.
The goal of the ALP is to help a talented and diverse faculty and select executive-level professional staff further develop their ability to be effective academic leaders at all levels of research universities. The program is specifically oriented to address the challenges of academic administration at major research universities and to help faculty members prepare to meet them. It is intended to help those considering leadership positions understand the university as dynamic and inclusive institutions, and to help them build awareness of the diverse, complex, and changing landscape of higher education while exploring their role in that landscape.
