Principal Research Interests

My colleagues and I work on block copolymers and polymer mixtures. Model compounds with complex molecular architectures are prepared in useful quantities using various living polymerization techniques, followed by structural characterization by x-ray and neutron scattering, electron microscopy, and rheological and mechanical testing. Targeted technologies include high performance membranes, toughened plastics, and aqueous dispersions for medical imaging and drug delivery.
